Cardinal Mooney Summer Camp

Who: Open to all girls entering 4th-9th grade.

What: The camp will focus on developing individual skill and transferring them into team competition.

When: June 7th-10th 9am-12pm

Where: Cardinal Mooney High School

Cardinal Mooney High School Summer Camp 2 is CANCELLED

Who: Open to all girls entering 9th-12th grade.

What: The camp will cover basic individual and team skills. Advanced hitting, setting, and defensive techniques will be covered, along with strength and conditioning.

When: June 28th-July 1st

Cost: $150

Kristen Batt, a resident of Venice, Florida, graduated from Venice High School in 1999. She lettered in volleyball, basketball, and softball. She led the Venice volleyball team to a state championship and was named MVP her junior and senior years. She was also voted Florida Gatorade players of the year in 1999. Kristen earned a full ride volleyball scholarship at the University of Kentucky and was a four-year starter. She was named All SEC, and was elected as her team’s Most Valuable Player. Kristen is currently playing professional beach volleyball on the AVP tour. She was named the 2009 EVP Rookie of the Year and is currently attending Capella University working towards her Master’s degree in Counseling. She began coaching in 2004 at Bardstown High School in Kentucky. Since then she has been an assistant coach at Venice High School, a club coach with Venetian Bay, and is currently the 17 National Team Club Coach for Suncoast Volleyball. She recently accepted the head coaching position at Cardinal Mooney High School.
