SVA's Braden River Volleyball Camps

SVA would like to invite you to participate in the Best Summer Volleyball Camps in the area. These camps will feature instruction from Steven Haugh, Director of SVA, Head Coach Braden River High School and the 2009 Herald Tribunes High School Coach of the year. Coach Haugh has 23 years of coaching experience in the area. He has been either playing or coaching volleball since 1982, over 27 years. He has coached more than 70 players that have gone on to play at the collegiate level.

Coach Haugh is offering 2 high school skills camps and 1 youth skills camp this summer. Camps are open to all girls that are interested in participating. Camps will be fast paced and fun. Each girl will receive a written evaluation and a camp t-shirt. Instruction will include individual skills and team concepts and will be designed to accomodate all levels play, from beginner to advanced.

Youth Skills Camp

  • Who can attend: All girls ages 8 – 13
  • Where: Braden River High School Gym, 6545 State Road 70 East, Bradenton, Florida 34203
  • When: July 9th (1pm to 3pm) July 10th (10am to 12pm) July 11th (10am to 12pm)
  • Cost: $95

Camp Includes:

  • 6 hours of instruction
  • Camp Tee-shirt
  • Written Evaluation
  • Camp Awards

High School Skills Camp

  • Camp sponsored by Sarasota Volleyball Academy
  • Camp Director: Steven Haugh, Head Coach BRHS
  • 2009 Herald Tribune’s Volleyball Coach of the Year
  • Who can attend: All girls entering 9th – 12th grades. Camp is not limited to BRHS students.
  • Where: Braden River High School Gym, 6545 State Road 70 East, Bradenton, Florida 34203
  • When: Session 1- July 5-8 (1pm to 4pm each day)
  • When: Session 2- July 30-31 and August 1st, 3rd (30th,3rd 1-4pm) (31st,1st 10am-1pm)
  • Cost: Session 1 - $150 * Session 2 - $150 * Both Sessions - $275

Camp Includes:

  • 12 hours of instruction each session
  • Camp Tee-shirt
  • Written Evaluation
  • Camp Awards
