The Fort Lauderdale Open now in its 3rd year will be taking place April 4-5, 2009. Teams from around the country hit the sand vying for their share of the cash purse and tournament prizes. The tournament is open to players off all skill levels and ages ranging from our Junior Division - Open Division (Professional Athletes). Action starts Saturday 7:30 am with the finals taking place at 6:00 pm. With an increasing amount of entries every year, this year’s event is expecting to reach 200 teams through out the weekend. The Fort Lauderdale Open has begun to build itself as the premier tournament kicking off the Beach Volleyball Season and continues to receive increasing buzz around the beach volleyball community. The For Lauderdale Open takes place directly behind South Beach Parking lot (801 Seabreeze Blvd.) Fort Lauderdale Beach. Spectators are encouraged to come out and cheer on your favorite team with FREE admission for everyone.
